Dear Residents, PCSO Sparkes here this is a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hillfield’s neighbourhood policing team. What`s been happening: We have conducted high visible patrols around your neighbourhood, aiming at the hotspots for anti-social behaviour. We have conducted cuppa with a copper, issued CPWs and CPNs, partnership work and weapon sweeps. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Your local Neighbourhood team have been out and about engaging in the community. We conducted a CUPPA WITH A COPPER event at the Hope centre earlier this week. It was great to meet many local residents. This was a great way to understand local issues. We’ve been working with local associations around issues that have been ongoing in your neighbourhood. We aim to work closely with are partners to tackle ongoing issues. We have been visiting your local shops to discuss any issues they are facing and give reassurance. We have been conducting patrols at Coronation Road where there has been ongoing anti-social behaviour. ARRESTS: This week your local officers made some great arrests this set. These arrests were made regarding known offenders causing issues within the local neighbourhood this week. OTHER HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK: We have been issuing more CPWs this week to those that have been identified in causing anti-social behaviour in your local neighbourhood. We have also been out issuing CPNs to those that have breeched their CPW. From our recent PACT meeting we had issues raised around parking on Wellington street, we conducted patrols which resulted in seizing a vehicle for no tax. GREAT NEWS: Your local neighbourhood team are looking a setting up a Street watch in Hillfields. Street Watch Team is a community patrol initiative that helps you make a difference where you live.
